(मनसे) के कई कार्यकर्ताओं को ठाणे के मीरा रोड पर उस समय हिरासत में ले लिया गया, जब वे मुंबई में हुए 'थप्पड़ कांड' के विरोध में मार्च निकाल रहे थे. इस घटना में मनसे कार्यकर्ताओं ने मराठी न बोलने पर एक फूड स्टॉल मालिक पर हमला कर दिया था. मनसे कार्यकर्ताओं के सड़कों पर उतरने और पुलिस द्वारा उन्हें पकड़कर पुलिस वैन में डालने के दौरान ड्रामेटिक सीन सामने आए. दरअसल, पुलिस ने आज के विरोध प्रदर्शन की अनुमति नहीं दी थी. लेकिन फिर भी मनसे के कार्यकर्ता सड़कों पर उतर गए. हिरासत में लिए जाने के दौरान, कई मनसे कार्यकर्ताओं ने सवाल उठाया कि व्यापारियों को 'थप्पड़' की घटना के खिलाफ विरोध करने की अनुमति क्यों दी गई?
((The echo of the 'slap incident' in Mumbai has created a ruckus in
Maharashtra politics. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has been constantly
attacking the government on this issue. MNS workers have now come out on
the streets on this issue. Many workers of Raj Thackeray's party
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) were detained on Mira Road in Thane
when they were taking out a march against the 'slap incident' in Mumbai.
In this incident, MNS workers attacked a food stall owner for not
speaking Marathi. Dramatic scenes emerged when MNS workers took to the
streets and the police caught them and put them in a police van.
Actually, the police had not given permission for today's protest. But
still MNS workers took to the streets. While being detained, many MNS
workers raised the question that why were the traders allowed to protest
against the 'slap' incident?))
